In 1983, David Hammons sold snowballs on the street, commenting on the commodification of art and questioning its value. I have actualised his legendary performance Bliz-aard Ball Sale to the present day of ongoing climate catastrophe, which we are witnessing while the wealthiest fraction of society surrounds itself with art objects as decorations for their opulent, reckless life of luxury.
