Premiere screening of my new experimental short film called When I speak, I cannot hear the silence. The audiovisual essay is based on the multi-genre performance Děti U and aims to open up another possibility of perceiving the complex topic of children’s palliative care through an experimental use of video. The choice of filming technique and style of the 90s home-videos refers to intimacy and family moments together. Under layers of emotion and visual effects, these can range from abstract poetry, to visual black metal, to a documentary of capricious underwater pleasures, to editing contemplation and finding inner peace.
