Documentary film about an unusual urban landscape, about Rohanský ostrov, which is no longer an island, but is still called so by the inhabitants of Prague. It is a unique area that is a new urban wilderness in the middle of our capital city.

The film experiments with the genre of science-fiction film and shows what is happening on Rohan Island through a play with formal methods. It has become a vast brownfield just outside the centre of Prague, where nature and people create their own temporarily autonomous zones. Through a short description of the interesting history of this specific area, we get to the development future and see a positive present with local grassroots activities taking place and taking back the city.

Autorský dokumentární film o nevšední městské krajině, o Rohanském ostrově, který ostrovem již dlouho není, ale pořád mu tak obyvatelé Prahy říkají. Jde o unikátní plochu, která je novou městskou divočinou uprostřed našeho hlavního města.

Film experimentuje s žánrem vědecko-populárního filmu a skrze hru s formálními postupy ukazuje dění na Rohanském ostrově. Ten se stal rozsáhlým brownfieldem kousek od centra Prahy, kde si příroda a lidé vytváří své dočasně autonomní zóny. Přes krátký popis zajímavé historie této specifické oblasti se dostáváme k developerské budoucnosti a uvidíme pozitivní současnost s lokálními aktivitami zdola, které se zde odehrávají a berou si město zpět.
