Film Propojme se včera bude promítán na festivalu Academia Film Olomouc 2024. „Slovo krize se v současnosti objevuje v narůstajícím množství kontextů. Environmentální, energetická, bytová – jak ale tyto krize spolu souvisí a jak jim čelit? V kontextu mnohovrstevnatých krizí, jimiž procházíme, se stává pojem společenské odolnosti stále více relevantním – vybízí k tomu, abychom se zamysleli nad současným stavem společnosti i její schopností se vůči krizím bránit. Projekce filmu Propojme se včera a panelová diskuze přiblíží podstatu současných krizí a představí kontexty společenské odolnosti 21. století. Pozvání do panelové diskuze přijala Anna Bromová, výzkumnice sociálně-ekologické rezilience, a Anna Kárníková, ředitelka Hnutí Duha.“   → more

The Urban Art Biennale at the World Cultural Heritage Site at the Völklingen Ironworks is one of the world’s largest exhibitions of this anarchic art form beyond conventional white cube aesthetics. Every two years since 2011, the entire area of the Völklingen Ironworks has become a congenial dialog partner for art that has evolved from street art or graffiti. In 2024, the focus will be on participatory urban art projects in addition to political in situ works. → more

Who am I? What am I? My body? A memory, a dream? Does art help me know myself? And why art? Another instalment of the long-term project, which combines the format of an exhibition and a classroom and focuses on the theme of human identity. Identity has emerged as a central motif in the collaboration with young people, students, and adolescents. While the theme of the project/exhibition generally applies, further questions and answers are offered in the accompanying educational programmes. What is a mistake and when? What does it mean to be ordinary or indifferent, and when is our attention needed? What stereotypes and prejudices do we have when perceiving works of art and, above all, ourselves and others?
